"Giftland"
A place of love, giving, and everyday kindness

Spreading joy, meeting real needs, and building communities of care
The Giftland programme was launched in 2012 to address the everyday, practical needs of children, families, and isolated individuals in vulnerable situations.
Its philosophy is as simple as it is human:
"What one person considers unnecessary may be priceless to another"

A Circle of Giving and Compassion
At Giftland, we collect—and continue to collect:
-
Clothing and shoes
-
Books and school supplies
-
Toys, small furniture, kitchenware, and household items
-
Bed linens, blankets, towels, and more
Everything is distributed with dignity and respect, without discrimination. Giftland serves as a bridge of solidarity, connecting those who wish to give with those who are in need.

Our First Chapter (2012–2017)
From 2012 to 2017, Giftland operated with consistency and love, supporting hundreds of families, children, and vulnerable neighbours. It offered an open space where giving and receiving were equally valued, strengthening the sense of community care and giving real meaning to the word solidarity.

Giftland Returns (2022 – Today)
In October 2022, Giftland reopened its doors—this time in the heart of Exarchia, at 26 Metsovou Street. It is now a welcoming space of discretion, dignity, and heartfelt giving.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Bodossaki Foundation, whose support helped us restart the programme by sponsoring the rent of our space. Their contribution has been essential to continuing our mission, offering stability and care to those who rely on us.

Why “Giftland”?
Because we believe that love can also be expressed through things—when given with intention, a smile, and respect. It’s not the objects themselves that matter most, but the way they are offered.
Giftland is more than a donation programme. It is an act of social justice, a network of mutual support, and a shared declaration: “You matter, and we see you.”
