Since 1992, Love People has been operating across Greece with a mission to provide meaningful social support to vulnerable groups, empower children and youth, and promote a culture of love, inclusion, and solidarity. Through a wide range of community projects, we embody compassion in action—approaching every person with respect, dignity, and humanity.
Children are at the centre of our mission. We actively support their education and personal development through initiatives like the School of Love, offering tutoring to primary and secondary school students. At the 28th Primary School of Menidi, we provide books, breakfast, and gifts to children from low-income families, ensuring they have access to essential resources and a sense of belonging.
Since 2012, we’ve been by the side of children at Aglaia Kyriakou Children's Hospital, organising creative activities and offering emotional support to young patients and their parents, bringing comfort and moments of relief during difficult times.
Children with disabilities hold a special place in our hearts. Since 2007 in Nea Filadelfeia and from 2018 in Agioi Anargyroi, Love People has supported these children and their families through seasonal celebrations, personal gifts, and financial support to local organisations like An ανοιχτή Αγκαλιά (Open Embrace). We've also equipped creative spaces with toys, a TV, and a keyboard, encouraging expression, connection, and inclusion.
Our social impact extends to the neighbourhoods of Nea Filadelfeia, where since 1992 we’ve actively supported families and isolated individuals. We strengthen the Community Food Bank, collaborate with local parish charities, and serve daily hot meals through our Plates of Love initiative. We believe lasting change begins within our neighbourhood—right next door.
A key part of our mission is offering empathy and support to young people held at Avlona Youth Prison. Since 2009, our Love Without Barriers programme has delivered creative workshops, meaningful conversations, personal gifts, and emotional support to help these young men regain confidence and rebuild their lives. We believe that every person deserves a second chance—and that society must be ready to meet them with an open heart.
Launched in 2012, Giftland offers clothing, shoes, essential items, linens, small furniture and more to individuals and families in need. After a short pause, Giftland reopened in 2022 in the heart of Exarchia (26 Metsovou Street), with the support of the Bodossaki Foundation. Once again, it serves as a community hub of hope and dignity, helping people meet their basic needs with respect.
Every initiative we carry out is made possible by our dedicated volunteers, who give meaning to the words care, support, and human presence through their discreet, consistent, and generous contribution. We believe in a society that is inclusive, fair, and compassionate—where every person, young or old, can stand again, if there’s someone beside them who truly sees them.
Our work across Greece continues to grow, with new partnerships, community projects, and networks of love blossoming nationwide. Because love is not just an idea—it’s a daily choice. And together, we can make it real.
